THE BASICS OF BLOCKING
This 90 minute online workshop will teach the basics of blocking, how to create floor plans and shot lists and be creative and effective as a director of narrative work.
This two hour online workshop will deep dive into advanced techniques of blocking ensemble scene, action and stunts and share how to create floor plans and shot lists that are effective tools for more difficult scene work.
ADVANCED DIRECTING INTENSIVE: RELATIONSHIPS, ON SCREEN INTIMACY & DIRECTING SEX SCENES
This intensive 3-hour online workshop will do a deep dive into the process of casting, prepping, directing and editing intimacy and simulated sex scenes for film and television.
This 90-minute online workshop shares approaches to marking scripts, integrating visual references and audio recordings, adding floor plans and shot lists into scripts. This session includes step-by-step tutorials and hands-on exercises using real-world examples and scripts that have aired and streamed on television that were prepped using Scriptation and these director's prep methods.

DIRECTORS PREP WORKSHOP
This intensive online workshop digs deeply into the director prep process for narrative filmmakers, specially for those working in the independent space and those who work in the marketplace. There will be a focus and a deep dive into the prep process for episodic television directors. We'll look at ways to use Google Suite, Keynote, Scriptation, your phone and other digital tools to streamline your prep process. This is both for the organized director and the director who wants to get organized. Communication is key to directing, what are your shot lists, storyboards, decks & materials saying about you and your craft as a director?

EDITING AND THE EDITOR - DIRECTOR RELATIONSHIP
This intensive 2.5 hour session will help directors of both independent short and feature projects as well as episodic television directors understand the craft of editing before a project is shot. The aim of this course is to help directors who prepare blocking and shot lists to save valuable time on the set. This session will aid directors in communication with the editor and will give specific language to communicate with your editor, an invaluable tool when crafting beats, transitions, and your story as a whole.
